Staffelter Hof – Kröv Kirchlay 2005 Auslese – another stunner – 12 years of age on this Auslese from a vineyard that no longer exists (got destroyed by a fungal disease in 2012). 380-btl production – texture, acidity, complexity, drinkability, it’s all there. Somehow manages to remain refreshing, 9% alcohol.
Fredi Torres Silice Mencia 2016 – first of our Fredi Torres wines, 12% alcohol, Mencia blend with local varieties from vines – some as young as 50 years old, and some older than 100 years old!
